Overnight Oats Recipe Ideas


Overnight oats are a great way to prepare ahead of time for a healthy start to your day. They are easy to prepare and are a delicious quick breakfast for any day of the week. Overnight oats are made from combining your favorite oatmeal recipe with almond milk, a dash of maple syrup and anything else you might like and letting it rest in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning the oats are soft and delicious and your oatmeal is ready to go, no need to cook!!


If your new to Overnight Oats, then here’s how to start:


-The night before you plan on having the oats mix together 1/2 cup whole rolled oats and 1/2 cup your choice of milk. Add 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup and a dash of salt. Stir to combine.


-Refrigerate the mixture overnight in an airtight container.


-In the morning your oats will be ready to eat! Transfer them to a bowl and top with your favorite mix- in’s such as pecans, walnuts, seeds, fruit, etc!


Here are some fantastic combos for you try with your Overnight Oats:


Cherry Berry with Chia and Yogurt


-Top oats with frozen cherries and blueberries, a dollop of greek yogurt, chia seeds and a drizzle of maple syrup.


Coconut Turmeric Oats


-Stir 1/4 tsp turmeric and 1/4 tsp cinnamon into oats before refrigerating. In the morning top with hemp seeds, diced mango, currants, coconut flakes and a honey drizzle.


Sesame Tahini Oats


-In the morning, top Overnight Oats with 1 tbsp tahini, pistachios, pomegranates, dried apricots, honey drizzle and sesame seeds.


Chocolate Chip Cookie


-Add 1/4 tsp of vanilla to oats before refrigerating. Top your oats with almond butter, chocolate chips and chopped almonds.

For breakfast to go, make your Overnight Oats in mason jars!
