If the cool weather has you hankering for some pumpkin pie in your life then we have the recipe for you! While you may be swapping out those summer breakfasts for things like warm oatmeal, eggs and toast, you’ll find that the spice of this smoothie bowl is enough to conjure up warm feelings of pumpkin pie and warm sweaters.
1 1/2 overripe sliced and frozen bananas
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (canned pumpkin)
3/4 cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
1–2 medjool dates, pitted (for sweetness)
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Optional: 1 scoop protein powder
Toppings: dried cranberries, coconut, pecans, banana, etc.
Place all ingredients except toppings in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and top with your choice of toppings.
